Today's the day!

I know there are a few that will have to wait until after they get paid on Friday to send.  So I'm extending the deadine until Monday August 4, to give everyone a little extra breathing room.  As long as I have your dc# by the end of the day Monday, you won't be counted as sending late.

Thanks! Smiley

Bless  You!!!!

I forgot to take a picture of the last thing that went in to the box I shipped out.... and am kicking myself.  It came out really really sharp!

After I had it all together and boxed up I figured out that I could add more to the box for the same shipping costs... And it kills me to send out a package that could fit more in to it for whatever reason - flat rate boxes MUST be filled to capacity... packages that could possibly have a little more weight put in for the same shipping fundage?  Oh yeah.  I had forgotten to make something that I had on my to do list so I worked on it, got it done (it was a small item. Not like I was creating something massive) and reopened the box and put it in there and shipped out - but forgot to take a picture... bummer.

I could have totally done up another 6 - 9points. There were 3 large things that I had on my list of possibilities but ended up not doing for one reason or another (time and energy mostly - neither of which I have had much of the past month)

Now I get to anxiously await its arrival - oh anticipation!!!

I really enjoyed this swap and am looking forward to another round time and health willing!

I looooove the flat rate option - granted this box didn't go that way.  It was cheaper to go priority mail but for a lot of stuff it is a saving grace.  I wish everyone had flat rate.  I am sure some day our flat rate will go away but I hope I don't live to see that day since I use it a lot!!

I received from FlasheyAshley this morning. When I was stalking her profile when I was making stuff, I was, like, "Ooo. I hope she make me this, this, and that."
I opened my package and I thought to myself "Holy shit! This, This and that!"
Everything is soooo fabulous!

I'll post pick after I go get some batteries for my camera!

I have mailed....now to wait & see if the things I made will suit my partner
& her family!
(fingers crossed  Smiley
This has definitely been a great swap, and I totally enjoyed the constraints
of working from stash....I would think of something to make & want to go buy
the yarn to do it, then would remember:  NO, I have to use my STASH for this!
LOL
It was kinda eye-opening to see how my mind automatically thinks in terms
of buying new yarn, when it's perfectly possible to find some in stash!

I am so nervous/excited... the package I sent was attempted to be delivered yesterday and a notice was left for redelivery/return.... I hope it is delivered today and not sent back to me!!!
I don't know why it would have a delivery issue. I did not put a request for signature or anything on it...

If the package is too big for the mailbox it's up to the carriers discretion whether they think it's ok to leave the package on the porch. If they feel it's too exposed, it's raining, or whatever they can always hold the box & leave the note.

I had to sign for a swap package once because some other package leaked all over it, smartly my partner had wrapped my stuff in plastic bags & my goodies were unharmed. I'm really paranoid about that now & make sure everything gets sealed up nicely.

Craftydeb, it's SO close to being here!!! The post office never leaves packages at my door anymore and it makes me sad.  My theory is that it's because the mail carrier just has his bag of mail that he has to carry around and can't carry all the packages with him.

ANYWAY. I asked for re-delivery so hopefully it will be here tomorrow. i'm super excited. i'm also nervous about the package I sent to craftydeb...I hope I put enough padding in there.  Undecided
