Admittedly, I haven't done many swaps at all, but sometimes I feel so weirdly babysat by organizers. Do people flake on swaps a lot? Is this an inappropriate question/comment?

No, it is not an inappropriate comment.  Everyone should be able to express their concerns.  Like feelix said, yes people do flake all the time.  Having been flaked on myself, I know how disappointing it is.  The swap requirements are set up by individual organizers and Craftster to protect both the swappers and the organizers.  The guidelines for this swap are pretty standard.  Not much different from most swaps.  Organizers are responsible for the swappers in the swaps that they host.  Swaps are suppossed to be fun and somewhat social.  I try very hard to make that a priority when I organize a swap.

If anyone feels that the requirements for this swap were too demanding or, that they have been treated at all unfairly please pm me or contact a swap mod.

Thank you. Smiley

I am sooooo close now!  I have one more thing I want to craft up = and then about oh 5 hours of computer time ahead of me and then I can send out if I am lucky!   I am just giddy with the way this last item came out... oh.my.god.  It is just too adorable!
Yup.  I will definitely be making another one of these - probably this weekend and in to next week I am sure but it has to be done!!  Wink

I know this swap isn't over yet but I have to say that I have thoroughly enjoyed destashing all over jennybear!  I ended up changing direction on the last thing I was going to make and am so glad I did.  It really did end up killing two birds with one stone and I am all for that!

I am collecting quilts, afghans & blankets for those that lost their homes.  Pm me!

Have been on vacation, crafting away in the mountains,
and am on target to mail by the 31st, maybe the day before.
I did warn my partner that I will be working up until the bitter
end, and she was fine with that.....

I think I will be working up until the send out date too! Have to take some time out from crafting to give my mom a big birthday party this weekend.....but I'll be back to crafting on Sunday.

Glad my partner & I finished up early, I'm getting tons of projects with deadlines from family & friends! MIL asked me to make her a (very simple) dress for her cruise coming up, the amount of babysitting she does I couldn't say no! I was also able to help her pick something other than poleyster crepe! aaaaanndd now I have her measurements for future sewing. Wink
