That is so beautiful, I love the design. The colors are amazing too, they work really well with the pattern. Did you use any kind of fixitive or anything so the marker won't be work away/the paint won't chip?

Human rights are for EVERYONE.  Did you know that Aung San Suu Kyi had been released from house arrest in Burma? Many other prisoners of conscience are still being detained.  Please research this topic... Amnesty International needs your help.

I started the design by drawing it free-hand with marker on the table. I have a henna book that came with a henna kit I had back-in-the-day that I got the patterns from. Then I went over the marker with paint, color pencil and the gold pen. I'm working on sealing it with a wood varnish, I'm going to put a ton of coats on it so it's protected and shinny!
