I found a pattern on Etsy the other week that I just HAD to make.....

And so I present Mr Froggy  Grin

He looks like a cute knitted frog right?

But wait - it gets better....  he is not only a cute knitted frog, he is a cute knitted DISSECTED frog!    Cheesy

and here he is pinned to a mini-corkboard (made from a picture frame with cork put inside it) in all his glory

The pattern was bought from Etsy (craftyhedgehog) - and he is knitted in Knitpicks swish DK in Asparagus.  His "innards" are needlefelted.

This was such fun to knit - only took me an evening to make (it took me longer to get round to making the corkboard to display him on!).  I do need to get some matching pins to pin him on, but I am soooooo  pleased with him!  Cheesy

hahaha, that is so awesome!  I am a vegetarian so I would have much preferred to dissect a knitted frog than a real one.  You did a great job executing this pattern, and the cork board to display it makes it even more awesome.

You should get some T-pins to pin him down with, that is what we always had to use when dissecting at least.

I know at least 3 people on my christmas list who MUST have this. Thanks for the tip!

When I dissected my high-school frog, I got one that clearly was not male, but didn't have the egg sac-y bits of a female. Turned out I'd cut up a formalda-hyded virgin. (Which, as it happens, is how I felt in high school, too.)

I'm betting the young lady frog was more upset, but my trauma has lasted longer...
