Holy cats!  It's been a loooong couple of weeks with out-of-town guests and a big kitchen cabinet job, so I am just now getting caught up with the latest.  WOW!  Nice stuff!  I'm just loving all the aprons!  I have about 4 aprons and I want some like these and I don't even cook!  I use them for baking, though.

Sadly Jamies glasses got a little damaged en route, but I think a little glue should fix them (DH will do them later, I'm not allowed near the superglue...), but I now have my very own mad scientists!!

oh, and I sent DH a MMS of them and he replied with "is Adam missing an eyebrow?"

Heey Everyone

I know this swap is all over and very far from minds but I'm still missing in the receiving end. I am a bit torn on what to do. I'll talk frankly so I hope I express myself clear enough for you to understand.

I'm hesitating asking for an angel. Not because I don't mind waiting more but because I'm sorta afraid of feeling a bit cheated or that I'll be taking advantage of an angel.
Pinky and I agreed to a pretty large budget (about $90). So I'm afraid I'll feel I wasted a ton of money and effort on this swap but I also feel like I'm being completely unfair to an angel if I am to ask her/him to put as much into it as I did. As I said, complete torn 

I almost feel like asking all you wonderful people to put in a small effort to make it big together. But of course I know that's totally unreasonable (and I don't expect it at all!) but I can't help think it as I think so highly of you all

I don't know if this sounds really stupid or what but it's pretty much what I feel. Am I expecting too little of an angel? What should I do? Should I just ask for an angel?

I know how you feel Pseudo. If the organizer feels you should have an angel I'd take the offer, but if anyone else is up to it I'd gladly make you something and send it along to help with making up for not receiving. Pm the organizer and see what they feel about the idea.

I think everyone sending a little something would be great that way you'd get stuff from tons of different people, I think that would be so cool! It's not that I think that it's asking a lot of an angel (because angels volunteer). It's just I fear it would make it hard to find an angel cause that's a pretty high budget. I'd be willing to chip in if there is a small/med crocheted item I can make for you.. Wait, so does that mean you'd request something from everyone?? Cause isn't that the whole point of IYP?
