Thanks everyone!  I was starting to think I'd made a dud and that Mimi was going to have to be polite.  Maybe it's just her Southern Hospitality or something, but I think it worked out okay.

I always feel this way about mimiw!  I'm sorta intimidated by her, because I really admire everything she makes.  It doesn't help that she seems to make EVERYTHING, and does it all really well!

I hope you take a pic of the tree-chart when its in the nursery Mimi!  It is so adorable!  My son is already 8, and its making me think I should make one for him!
Great job TheMistressT!  Its so creative!

Thanks MistressT! I will DEFINITELY post pics when I am done. I am planning and looking at fabrics and such. I like projects that have a use when they are done. I mean I enjoy making pretty things, but if it's pretty AND functional it's the best thing ever.

BTW, you make me a little sad. I am 59" (a.k.a 4'11" or 150cm, I like it in metric better, makes me feel tall!) and I am full grown Sad.

I'm with you on the functional stuff, sister!

Being tall has it's own set of challenges.  It's a whole lot easier to shorten your store-bought pants than to lengthen them, for instance.

Luckily many of mimiw's things are in the swap galleries and I didn't look there!  I suppose it helped that she invited me so I assumed she knew what she was in for.

Okay, let's talk about something else, shall we?   Kiss

5 days and a whole lot of frustration later....I can finally post pictures of Superhooker's great package that she sent me!  Grin

The amazing caplet...I couldn't get a decent action photo one-handed, but I will try the next time I have a visitor!

Cuddly scarf (too bad I live in Florida now and probably won't use it much!  But I will be back North soon enough!)

(I could somehow only get a thumbnail to be rotated...who knows!)

Sooooooo soft wristlet!

Cute (and functional!) notepads!

Thanks so much Superhooker!   Everything is amazing and I now have major swap anxiety as I'm sending to you!!

OoooOOoo! Capelet!  Can't wait to see it in action.

How big are those notepads?  They look great for in a purse or glove box.

Pretty pretty capelet. I have been wanting to make one, but I am afraid my scarf collection will eat it, just to be sure I won't be neglecting my many scarves..

Man I am getting super nervous about my second package for mirchita, it seems to be taking a really long time to get there.

dont you have a way to check it NerdyCrochetGal? when I send the last package to you, they gave me a number and I can check in the postage service site how was it going, not that usefull as it sounds, but it was a little usefull for my anxiety to see it already exists in somewhere  Cheesy
By the way, I havent send your package today, because there is a posibility to go to Brownsville Tx this saturday, and I think it will be great if I can send if from there, because it will get to you sooner, and we will save the costumers , but anyone can tell me if the post offices are open in saturday?Huh? please

Depends on the post office, I'm afraid.  Some of the smaller ones are closed on Saturdays.  But if it is open, they usually close at noon on Saturdays.

Grin Yeah usually the post office here closes at 12. So they are open just not for too long. And I can sort of check it. It tells me that it left the US on June 18th. So that means it has almost been a month!! I guess it's just making me super nervous cause the last one only seemed to take a little over two weeks.. Sad I hope it makes it there soon, cause I am really developing some anxiety over this. BTW, soooo excited to see what you cooked up mirchita!!
