I came up with an idea for a gift...for a man! Of course it's a gag gift.

And put a saying on it, like Mr. Mom... i don't know

I want to put fake boobs into an apron! So when the guy puts on the apron it looks like fake boobs.

I bought a tank top with the bra built in and the cups were wayyyy too big. The cups are formed...so they stand out on their own. i was thinking about taking that bra out and using that...

But i want to make a couple of them...and i wanted ideas on how to "stuff" the apron..And make it look professional.

Sounds hillarious! I have seen & done fake boobs for men out of regular bras, just stuff with polyfill & close off the cup with a hand stitched piece of fabric. But those all went with clothes of some kind, doing it with an apron is a bit trickier.... I will thing on this more Smiley

I would look at the construction of the cups on the bra, and then make a pattern from that. Then you can hand sew them to the apron using a hidden or whip stitch.

Ooh, I've got another idea for you. You know those plastic model things that look like a women's torso, that they sell swimsuits on? I know Costco sells their swimsuits on them. Anyhow, they are formed and shaped with breasts and everything. I wonder if you could just insert one between two panels on the front of the apron, and then stitch it closed? You would get a very womanly shape. Hmmm... Either way, have fun with it! Sounds like a great gag gift.

I have made costumes needing boobs, and I used Styrofoam balls cut in half then inserted in pockets made to hold them before i stitched the pocket closed.
