I've been meaning to experiment with the fusing technique for ages.  Now that I have - aside from the noxious fumes - I'm loving it! The finished pieces looks like faux fused glass pendants.  And the great thing about it is that the pieces are not as prone to chips or cracks when dropped Wink  All these pendants were made for a swap, and I think my swap partner is happy with them!  On with the pics:

I'm dying of curiosity - how'd you do it?! They're really neat! I especially like the first one.

But we have flamethrowers. And what this indicates to me, it means that at some point, some person said to himself, "Gee, I sure would like to set those people on fire over there. But I'm way too far away to get the job done. If only I had something that would throw flame on them."

LOL thanks! It is a Laurel Thatcher Ulrich quote that I have always loved (though often mistaken for a Mae West quote).

A year ago I would not have known the Romanian flag either, but my charity (Strive For Life) works with homeless Romanian children, so everything I do lately revolves around them.

I likes.  They look like glass...

I never have a problem with fumes, but I do notice they smell a bit, but not horribly.  Did you try running your vent fan or opening a window (if thats an option)?

I had seen that on the instructions before, but I didn't have any idea what they'd turn out like. Now I know! So how did you do yours - was each piece you fused a different color, or did you do clear ones around a colored one, or something different? If you did different colors, can you tell by looking at the side how they were stacked - which one was on top, and so on? And is the sparkly bit in the purple in the last photo glitter, or bubbles, or something else entirely?

So many questions! Smiley
