It's actually been a long while since I've done any drawing so I thought maybe if I shared some with you all I might get motivated to do some. I've been crafting so much I haven't had much time for drawing. Time is limited It's a constant battle Smiley But these are some pieces I've done in the past. The Britney Murphy piece is one of my personal favs, some of the shadows are a bit wonky but still one of my favs. Then the second one is a piece I did of my Sister in Law Jessica, I did it as a bridal shower gift and she loved it. I was up until like 3 AM the morning of her shower finishing it LOL, I matted and framed it myself also. The third is a piece I was commisioned to do for a friend of Jimi Hendrix. Well Enjoy Smiley The most recent is the one of Jessica and that was done last August. It's been that long since I've I done any real drawing.
These are all done in colored pencil and for larger pics and more of my art you can see it on www.artwanted.com/lindsycarranza

Okay so once again I am completely redoing my pictures. Got tired of photobucket, the only reason I used it was for here so I decided I will just use Craftster's photo uploader. So while I am switching over my photo links will be broken. Message me if there is a post you would like the pics for.

Wow!  I love all of these, and I think the one of Britney Murphy is my favorite as well.  There's something about it that I really like.  I really like the other two, though.  The second one is really pretty too, I would absolutely freak out if someone drew something like that for me.  You have some AMAZING talent.  Smiley  I definately hope to see more from you!

Aw thanks everyone so much, I did another one of Stevie Ray Vaughn for the same person I did Jimi for and I sill owe him a close up of SRV guitar so I am hopefully going to start working on that one soon. I also have to do one of Chris (Jessica's the bride's husband) and one of them together. I am hoping to get those done for their one year anniversary. Someone once described my style as cartoon-ish - realisim and I think that fits.

Thanks so much again everyone! I should show you all a piece I was working on that is scraped now. I was working on it for 3 months (this was like 4 years ago now) and it broke in half. I still might salvage the top of it but I was SO upset. It was a spring scene of a tree that has really big white and pink flowers (can't think of the name of it right now, it's big here in NE). Maybe I'll post it tonight.
