My dh gave me a TomTom for my birthday Smiley Knowing that these little GPS units are hot items, dh told me to take it with me when I get out of the vehicle...so I looked at cases for them. BORING. I knew I had fabric scraps big enough to make one Smiley

I used a scrap of a printed denim for the outside and a microfiber towel for the inside. I did add a layer of batt (more scrap) and some fusible interfacing to keep the microfiber from stretching way out of shape.

It is about 4" X 4 1/2"...

and here is a shot showing the inside (not very exciting, I know!)

Thanks for looking Smiley

You did a great job!!  Plus, you have educated all of us.  We now know that a TomTom is a GPS instead of a drum!!

The use of microfiber towel for the interior is a terrific idea!  I've been thinking about making a tote for my digital camera, I'll have to find a piece of microfiber to use!

LOL!  Cheesy

So cute and thanks for the great idea, plus the info re: theft of these.  My good friend just got one for hubby, so maybe I'll make her a pouch...or him a "manly" one, instead, since I think he uses it more!   Grin

Great job!!
