Wow I have never thought of doing it like that. I used to make cake balls, but truffles look cutier.  Love your idea. Thanks going to have to try it next time.

You certainly didn't fail at this one!  I never thought of actually crumbling cake to make something else.  I'm allergic to dairy but this recipe can be done with dairy or even wheat-free mix, right?

oh yum! I think I will have to try these, only I'm thinking I will use cream-cheese frosting and make them into chocolate cheese cake truffles!

I'll probably take the more labor-intensive route and make everything from scratch, though, to avoid all the trans fat and artificial flavors in boxed things.
