Wow, such a beatufiul dress!
It's funny to hear abt the wearing white thing, because here in Sweden it's somewhat required that the girls wear white when they graduate from upper secondary school. I was out trying to find white clothes today.. if only your dress had been in the store...

The actual "rule" is that you don't wear white between Labor Day (beginning of September) through Memorial Day (end of May).  White would be perfectly acceptable for June, though most people now consider it more of a guideline than an actual rule.
