I'm still waiting on my package -- I'm hoping it'll get here before the movie does! Cheesy

Whee! I finally got my swap package!

An alien, a UFO, and alien head, and a little "I want to believe" pillow...perhaps for the alien?  Too cute Smiley  Too bad they have to go right back in a box until their found again after my move tomorrow.

Also, I have a couple pictures of the stuff I sent my partner. I noticed she hasn't posted them yet and it's been a while.  I'm not sure at what point I should be the one posting them.

I'd say if it's been several days, it's okay to go ahead and post the pictures.  What cute crocheted things!

Here goes. This is the stuff I made for Knittin_pretty.

There is the box...Mulder looking up at a UFO

Hanging out of that is a small bookmark.

Inside of the box was an evidence bag containing a piece of alien ship, an origami UFO that flies like a frisbee (my cats got a kick out of it when it went for it's test runs), a vial with an alien implant, and a mini poster.

A set of marble magnets.  3 were from the simpsons episode.  Some of them are hard to see

Front and back of the tote bag.  The UFO was stenciled.

Writing and stenciling was a bit difficult on that canvas

And a charm necklace which needs some explaination.

The (X) is self explanatory.
The cross represents Scully and her beliefs
The moon/star charm represents Mulder and his beliefs in UFOs/aliens from outer space
The feather represents the Navajos
And the cell phone relates more to the show.  I got a good laugh going back and seeing those huge chunky phones they used.

I love the amigurumi!  I think the little pillow is my favorite, especially now that I've seen the movie with that title.

Thank you for posting pictures of what you sent to knittin_pretty.  I don't know if she's on vacation or something??  Anyway, it all looks great!  I love the charm necklace A LOT, and the quotes on the tote bag cracked me up.  Oh man, Mulder and Scully always have the BEST dialogue.  Smiley

Oh man! I love the bag, necklace, amirigumi!! They're all awesome!
Great job, everyone!!

Also, the movie does rock! I saw it last night, although since my swap partner hasn't sent her stuff yet or, you know, PMed me in a long time, I didn't have any X-y goodies to sport...but the movie still rawked!

Did you all stay for the last little bit? Cheesy
