i finished my first skirt last night!

i didn't use a pattern, just sort of adjusted as i went... (it's an intersting process)

the fabric i used is this really soft pajama-flannel. i found it and was instantly inspired.  I'm pretty happy with it, especially considering that it was my first.

like? no like? and who cares about the super bowl?

with love for all the craftsters,

Just make long skirts and wear thick tights, Juliet. Then it'll be skirt weather all year round! Grin

Legwarmers are the perfect solution - then you can wear skirts even in freezing cold winter!

If you know how to knit you can easily knit legwarmers (that's what I do).  But you could just cut the sleeves off an old sweater and use those.  To keep them up you can thread ribbon (or elastic) through the top.
