So I have made totes before out of all sorts of things & all shapes & sizes.  I have been eying some different cute little hand bags & purses lately because the twins are 1 now & I don't really use diaper bags anymore.  Plus if they are at their dads house a few days a week (a big if sometimes) I don't have to carry a big purse.

Anyways I came across this yesterday, not sure HOW, I think I was googling 'child's apron neck strap length'!!!

Being the sewer I am cut out the pile of flesh & decided to wing it.  Well being with it, I sewed it together wrong... thats okay though, I fixed it & put french seams on the tops of the straps.  That being said its fully reversible & I am eating it!  I see many more of these in my future!

That's so neat! I'm dead set against carrying a purse (I refuse to be girly!), but if I ever did, it would be something like this. It's very clever.

You could always do it out a neat print or dark solid... it would look more like a hobo sack/bag & much less girly!

It's from one of the sewing companies & they showed it on Martha.  Its has a video, but I like the way I put mine together instead... way faster & easier & the french seam looks nice.
