I have no before pictures, but it was $5.00 at a yard sale.  The old owner said the chair had been hanging around their house for decades.  It was upholstered in brown shag carpeting.  You could tell that it was home to the hairy, smelly dog for quite some time.  It was covered in dog hair and grime.  Hubby didn't want it, but I did!

Here's the cleaned up version.  We bought a velour blanket to reupholster it with.  I also tried button-covering and tufting for the first time .  It went well.
