I always wanted to entry one of Craftster challenge and them when I saw this one, I was: Yeap, That's the one!
So I went to several thrift stores around where I live until I found this:

I really thought was an amazing chair with gorgeous lines, but I really hated the fabric and also didn't like the color of the wood.
When I first started taking everything a part I found this really ugly and trashy seat.

And this is what I came with. Makes me remember of my mom, because she also have a leopard chair at her house!

That is the exact same chair my parents had when I was growing up. Only there was four of them, and they went around our dining table. I remember how nasty that plastic cover felt when you wore shorts. Wow! Thanks for posting that! I loved those chairs!

haha..this is so funny. when my husband and i first got married we got a handed down dining room set from some friends with these chairs.  Smiley i did NOT see the potential and absolutely hated them, but my husband always liked the "lines" also, i'll have to show him what you did, you did a great job!
