I am a teen seller on Etsy, thanks to my ever supportive mother who made the account for me. I'd love to be a part of a 'teen seller' group! I haven't made any sales yet and am looking for ways to promote my shop. Keep me posted on this, please!

I am not a teen, but oddly enough I just read Etsy's policies not even five minutes ago as I am thinking of opening a shop.  It says that children can have an Etsy store of their own but it must be approved & activated by a parent or guardian.  Check out their policies!

(Just to be clear - Etsy said Children, not me! I think teens are not children, not adults, that why they are teens!)

I live in my own little world, but it's ok, they know me here.

i'm seventeen and i started last year. you only need "parental supervision." like on those old tv commericals for messy toys.
everything is under my name and i got a shared debit card with my mom because my bank wouldn't let me get my own.
so you're basically in the clear.

Hey there! I'm a teen seller on Etsy! I'll be 17 in a month and I've had my store since this summer. Keep me updated about getting a group started, I'd love to be a part of it! Good luck with your shops everyone!

you don't have to be over 18 to sell. if you under 18 you need parent's permission and i assume if you need a credit card you'll have to use your parents as well (with permission!). if you put it under your name you are responsible for all account activity.

I am 17 and I have just registered on Etsy. I will be using my mums credit card and whatnot in order to handle the bills and the posting fee. It says in the policies that if you are under 18, then you need parental supervision.
