Firefly amigurumi! (pic heavy, as always)

Hey everyone!  I know I've been talking about these Firefly people forever, and they're finally done!  Here is the whole crew:



Aren't they cute?  We arranged them all so that they looked like the cover of the DVD set.  (So if you don't have the DVD set, go out and buy it!  Right now!)  Anyway, I liked this project because I got to watch a lot of Firefly while doing it.  I will only post a couple of photos here of some of my favorite dudes.


It's Jayne with his hat!  Of course I wouldn't make Jayne without it.  He also has Vera, a knife, some grenades and he is ready to go kick some butt.


I really like Zoe, I think she is one of my favorites.  I used doll hair from Hobby Lobby (instead of embroidery floss like I usually do) and it was really hard to work with, but it turned out looking really great.


And Wash!  He has his little floral shirt on.  My boyfriend painted the shirt, it's pretty crazy looking.  Not many accessories for him, except for his dinosaurs of course.


And we couldn't make Kaylee without her strawberry!  She has a jacket too, you can see the detail here .  I used a crazy yarn for her arms, I think it turned out really cool looking.
