wow that purple lady is beyond awesome! I wish I had know how to blend like that before I sent my piece, hopefully craftADDchick likes hers!!

I'm sure I'll love it! But I really hope that it doesn't arrive tomorrow- I won't be home until after 9 PM, and if I obsessively check the DC# (as I typically do Wink ), I'll be so antsy until I get home! So, I'll be home at a more reasonable hour on Thursday...

This is the first time I've ever hoped a swap package wasn't delivered at light speed! Cheesy Cheesy

I have a question while I am waiting for my lovely OTT in the mail: Can you only print on the specific printer shrinky plastic or are there other kinds?

Also, for those of you that use sealants: What kind? I tried using a polyurethane on sharpies and it was a disaster. It worked well on color pencils, though.

I have had 3 big shrinky catastrophes during this swap but the finished product(s)  Wink turned out well.

Yeah, they make a special ink jet shrinky dinks that has a different texture than the normal stuff. The rest you need to use markers/pencils/etc to draw yourself.

The only one I've sealed is the ink jet test I did and I used a Krylon matte finish spray. I happened to have it on hand. It was one of the recommended sealers in the ink jet instructions. They also said you could use clear nail polish as well. I think because the ink jet one is so water soluble you HAVE to seal it or your piece won't ever "set" fully.
