Gorgeous dress---I love the way it looks with the black petticoat and gloves.

Oh, it's just kittens.

I want to leave this world the way I came into it:  naked, screaming, and covered in someone else's blood.

Amazing!  The whole vintage pattern hell thing was totally worth it (in my opinion). Smiley The colors and the fit of the dress are just perfect.  Kudos!

Absolutely gorgeous!!  Definetly one of my top prom dresses so far!  I love looking at all of them, and I can't wait for my prom next year!!  I really hope I find the time and patience to make a dress!

That dress is so gorgeous. I really like that bronze colour. You did a really good job!

I'm jealous of your prom venue on top of that. Mine was in a shriner 'temple'. Lol.

That is gorgeous, the colour really suits you, i love the 50s style and the shooooes!!  Also, how did you do your hair?  That's how I want to look for prom...but it's not for another month and a half.  So plenty of time to start sewing...thanks for the inspiration!

You did a great job.  I can't believe this was basically your first project.

Awesome work.  You looked absolutely stunning.

Omg! Your dress is Stunning! Your hair is perfect.. my god, teach me to do that please. Cheesy You two look absolutely fabulous together. It makes my heart flutter a little. Wink

I am beyond impressed that this is your first pattern piece, and essentially first sewing project. Outstanding work.

I LOVE the old time photos you posted, and the photo of you two kissing behind the hat is beyond adorable!
