haha, well.. my roommate is a little bit picky when it comes to furniture in our "common living areas". i'm sending her a picture of the table though.. and if she likes it, i'm totally going to make it! *fingers crossed*

Am I the only person who sees a giant hole in the instructions for this project?  Toward the end, it says "attach light fixture" without any previous mention of it.  It also says to put the peg board in with the cut-out corners, but doesn't give any instructions about those, either.  Am I missing something?  I need a coffee table for my apartment and would love to make this.

I know it has been over a year since anyone posted about the lite brite table but I just bought a BUNCH of lite brite pegs and they are all singles... I wouldn't mind sharing.

I started making this table but when I went to home depot and other places I couldn't find peg board that fit so I bought plain board and I am drilling all the holes by hand 1/2 inch apart. It's taking forever. Does anyone know a place in Chicago that has the right size peg board? Home Depot only had one size.

This is the coolest thing! I love the idea of a headboard... I'm going to have to figure out how to make one. And whoever said bedside table had a great idea too.
I think it's neat that you can make this either really pretty and elegant or kitschy and cute. Just an awesome idea.
I better start looking on ebay before all the pegs are gone.... Cheesy

In the end, only kindness matters.

This table is totally super awesome! Did you try to spell something with the green lite brite pegs, Or is it just my eyes wanting to see something that is not there? Huh

Maybe I am just a mathematically-challenged retard, since I haven't tried to actually put my pieces together yet (my pegs just came today, sweet!) but wouldn't the pegboard have to be cut down a little to fit inside? If the glass and the pegboard are the same size I can't see how one would stay on the upper lip and one would fit inside...*puzzles*

I'm not doing personal swaps right now, but if you're interested, go ahead and PM me anyway--maybe we can work it out for later. Smiley
