Great idea.  Is this a kit or something?  Did you have to build the table? I agree that the table could use some color... I'd go red but, hey, that's my name Grin

That table is awesome! Wouldn't it make a cool nightstand too - you wouldn't need a lamp, just your LiteBrite nightstand!

the plans are str8 out of readymade mag. so yeah, i built the entire thing.  i also thought about making matching end tables.  i also thought red would be a great color.

I'm pretty enough for both of us.

I like the white with that couch.  Red would work for the 4th of July look.  I think black would be a cool alternative for a room that has other black items.  It would set off the lights nice and wouldn't accidently clash with any off the lights.  I can't remember but did Readymade have a correction to this project in a later magazine? Something about the amount of wood or size of wood needed?

the correction was very simple.  just make sure you 1'' x 8''  will make a 2' by 4' rectangle.  a very easy correction.  its making a rectangle than is difficult.

I made this table over xmas break and I love it. I stole the idea from readymade. I love readymade. I changed a lot of the dimensions because I could not make a coffee table.... i needed something smaller. It is about 18 inches by 18 inches and 26 inches tall. I used thicker legs and made the top look like a frame. It is still made with plexiglass and lite brite pegs.  I hope you like it!

Wow, that looks like something you would buy for a LOT of money at a modern furniture store. Great design quality!!!! Maybe you should make them and sell them!
