I'm on such a roll. It's a nice break from florals and fluff, I've been having a blast with these cards. Most of the papers are from Basic Grey's Archaic line and coordinate really well with each other. I got one of their little 6x6 pads and I'm making a serious dent in it with my card making. Yay for stash-busting!
Anyway, here's this weekend's outburst (apologies for the fierce shadows in these pictures, I was working with morning sunshine and could barely see the cards in my viewfinder!):
(Message inside: "No one else can fill your shoes")
Made during a fit of insomnia at 5 AM this morning!
Was trying to use a really ugly pattern and decided the best way to use it was to cut it into tiny bits and mosaic it! Mixed it with the brown orange scraps then decided to use dimensional glue to make them look like actual tiles, and added teeeny tiny gold beads to the orange pieces. I LOVE how this one turned out, it will be hard to give it away!
I make a sailing/nautical card every year for my dad, who loves being out on the water.
Love that bubbly/pod patterned paper, I've been using every scrap of it!
And one at the end of the night to use up scraps!
Thanks for looking!
