This would be my first challenge so I'm curious about the finer details of it all. Cuz I've been working on a project for a while now that would fit perfectly with this challenge. But can I submit a project that wasn't started at the beginning of a challenge?

Oh, I really want to do this!
I have to remember who my childhood heroes were... the only one I can think of is Miss Piggy, specifically when she went all 'Princess Leia' in Mupphet Babies. I'm sure theres more. hehehe

AHHH! That is my all-time favorite Muppet Babies episode! And may be related to my project if I end up doing this  Wink

Which brings me to my next question...I'm a long time reader/admirer of the boards but have never participated in anything like this...is that okay?

My high school art teacher was totally Bob Ross' wife.  Just wanted to throw that in there.  She was awesome--long silver hair, artsy clothes, and constantly somewhere in orbit (or among the happy trees; I dunno, but she wasn't 'present,' wherever she was....)

oh my gosh! that is awesome. she sounds like a perfect match for him.  Grin
PS, I found this the other day, just had to share it.

pippi longstocking, kermit the frog, amelia bedelia, bilbo baggins...
yeah, a lot of mine are fictional, too...

we must be around the same age because you just named all my childhood favorites! oh, plus David the Gnome!

I'm game.  After reading all the post I can do it.  I've only had one hero in my life so this is going to be simple to do.....

This sounds like a fun one...hummm. now who would mine be?!  Undecided

How does the challenge thing work? I mean, I have read other stuff, but havent found the answer to: when one does win, how does the lucky person get their prize? Do they have to supply someone at Craftster with their mailing address, or are they provided with a claim/coupon/code number to Amazon or somewhere to get it sent to them?

humm... anyone remember the snorks? Grin
