I really liked Spock - I even cut out eyebrows from brown construction paper and used clear nail polish to 'glue' them over my own.  My mom just about died!
And the why - the logic, being able to calculate in your head - yeah, even as a little kid I was a geek!

I've thought of a childhood hero... who definitely isn't anymore. But I may come up with something anyway, for nostalgia's sake.

I liked Bob and the happy trees, too. And Sesame Street. And Smurfs forever, oh god. Cheesy

Anyone want to make a cardigan in honor of Mr. Rogers? Or a streetcar craft in honor of Trolley? Roll Eyes Grin Tongue  Oh boy, the memories keep comin'.

I know this is going to sound corny.....but out of Every hero I could thing of none could match my mom.  Their was the Tarzan, Green Hornet, Batman and Robin, Wonder Woman, Carttoon characters, those famous TV stars back when I was little.  Then the musicans when I was a teen but the all were fades.  Now that I am older all I can think about being a superhero is my mom.  See told ya corny.

I don't think that's corny, I think it's sweet. Smiley

... the first thing that came to mind when I read this was Michael Jackson.

But as for mine.. hm.. I guess there was Reepicheep (the mouse warrior from the Narnia books). But that would be tricky to make something of... hm.. or Fred Penner (I thought Mr Rogers was a geek. Wink Not sure if Fred Penner was only in Canada though!)

My mom is my hero too.
I told her about the challenge and what I'd need, so she figured out it was her.   Cheesy
