if we're not from the US are we locked in to swapping with someone who is?

If we have more people from outside the US, I can try to match you that way - but realistically it would work better if you swapped with a USA'er. Smiley

hey swappers - I'm sure this won't be an issue, but just in case I'm going to add to the first post that if anyone is more than 2 days late sending, I will be leaving a temporary negative.  Since we are all sending internationally it's really really important to send on time! Smiley

should I send it out on July 30th, or is it ok to do it early to make sure it gets there on time? Does it matter if it gets there by July 30th? How long are people going to wait, for delivery?

can any UKers give me postage advice? What service do you use? How much is it?

MelissaNorth,
I'm not in the UK, but it looks like there is a tool on the Royal Mail website that helps you calculate postage.  The amount will vary depending on how heavy your parcel is.

July 30th is the "deadline", but sending early is encouraged! With an international swap, delivery will definatly take longer than it would if this were a domestic swap.  Packages get caught up in customs sometimes which lengthens the process, and the package having to go a long distance of course means it will take longer.  Packages aren't expected to arrive to their destination by July 30th, that's just the last day for sendouts.  Smiley  I hope this helps you!
