So, I live in Kuwait but am moving back to the states for university this summer after graduation.

I've been decorating cheap white H&M shoes lately, so this weekend (while my friend was sleeping off a party and we weren't getting ready for prom that night), I made a new pair.

I have the Kuwait flag on the back of each shoe:

Some people on the front:

Me and my five best friends (my boys and girl)

And a beach at sunset, since I've lived on the Gulf the years I've lived here:

I use prismacolor markers and then spray a few coats of Scotchgard to protect them.  Thanks for looking!

Really cool! Did you ever try decoupaging your sneakers? We found this idea on MakingFriends.com http://www.freekidscrafts.com/decoupage_sneakers-e53.html

Those are awesome!  I love the design, especially on the top of the toe/foot part. Nice work.

Those are so adorable. I was excited when I saw this thread because I actually lived in Kuwait when I was younger. You did a really good job, and I like that you included the flag and your friends on the side. But the real question is where are the Kuwait Towers?  Wink

Great job, especially with markers.

Yes! Another Kuwaiti transplant!

Meh... the Towers are overrated Wink... and since I don't live in the city, I don't see them nearly as often as I do the beach, for instance.
