I made this bag for my friends birthday, she really likes the forest and  forest colors. Because she is always collecting twigs and branches i made the button from a little twig i found (lucky me to live so close to nature!).





It was the first time i worked with bias tape, which is nice stuff because of its finishing qualities but i get the feeling i could do things differently to get less pulling and folding. Ironing straightened out a bit of the wrinkliness but still...

I actually tried to post this message hours ago but everytime i get completely lost in all the awesome stuff that's happening here. I love it!

That's a great bag - love the shape of the flap, and the twig closure is very clever.

I've found that the more I've worked with bias binding, the easier it's become. But using it on curves like you have is definitely harder than on straight edges.
