I wish they had taught us to knit when I was in elementary school.  It would have been much more fulfilling than the time we spent in the "computer" lab drawing things on an Apple IIe.

Kids really like these sort of mesmerizing things.  I once worked at an inner-city kid summer camp and we took them on a field trip to this yoga compound in the suburbs.  Now these were city kids, and they loved every moment of it, they were so quiet and calm, you could hear a pin drop.

aww.  very good article!  I personally was taught to knit when I was little, but found it waaaay to challenging for the budding perfectionist I was.

I think it's especially cool that the little boys are learning to knit!   Cheesy
