Wanted to show off some of my bodycasting. This is a life sized mermaid tail. I did it using the backend of a friend and I made the tail and added it on myself. All the embellishments were placed with hot glue. This is before I was totally done;
.
This is casts done of sisters for their Mom's birthday. It was a surprise for Mom and she absolutely flipped... happy! Shocked
This shows the process that I used to make the tealight holder. It's really messy.. This is the finished candle holder.
Thanks for looking and please let me know what you think.  Kiss

Those are amazing!  Thanks for showing the "in process" pictures.  I've never seen this done before.  It pretty amazing how you go from a big white goppy mess to a beautiful tea light holder.  Lovely work Smiley

Awesome and what a great, original mother's day present!  Kudos to the models - how long does it take for the plaster to set?  How long did they have to be still?

This totally rocks!

Hi
gannon
Those who say it can't be done shouldn't interrupt the person doing it.

Fascinating! I've never tried casting.  Can you explain a little about how it is done?
