Spotted a cute purse here on craftster and I had to make my own version using the same prints.

Here is my inspiration.

http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=21907.0

and here is my version
Height: 25 cm
Width: 25 cm
Depth: 8cm (at base) 6 cm (at top).

Front and back are the same.
The outer is black velveteen,  the prints are inkjet t-Shirt transfer on white cotton which  is then hand appliqud to the purse.  I made the piping using a black and white cotton print.  It is lined with red satin and has a zipper on the top.  Mat board was sewn between the lining and outer for front and back panels for stability.

Comment are appreciated.

Thanks

wow, looks so professional! When you say mat board, do you mean the framing stuff? What happens if it gets wet? I have constant handbag disasters- the last was a waitress knocking a full beer into my sadly open bag, but I drop things into slush too! I've been wondering what to use to get really stiff sides like you did without using anything water vulnerable. Great bag!
