I'm a student in New Haven, but I'm originally from Groton. I thought I'd see if there are any Craftsters from the Groton/Mystic/New London area. If so, maybe we could organize a Stitch&Bitch or some kind of crafty get-together sometime! Smiley

Hi there! I would love to meet other people in the Groton area who like to knit.  I moved here a few months ago and have yet to really make any friends, so this would be nice!  Count me in!

I feel bad I forgot about this thread! I'll be back in Groton after next week so it would be cool to set up a get together during the summer. Let me know if there's a good place you'd like to meet and knit. Or better yet, we could just join the Norwich meetup and see what locations they pick. Smiley

The closest S'nB to you guys is at Starbucks in Madison (&/or Branford):

If you're up for a drive, S'nB New Haven meets every Wednesday from 7 to at least 9 p.m. (and we've started meeting on Thursdays at Panera in North Haven -- next to the new Michaels):

A SnB group was started recently in New London.  We have only met a few times so far.  The next meeting in this Sat. at 6:00 at the Borders in Waterford.  Here is a link to the yahoo group.

Hope to see some new people.
