Beautiful portraits, and a very touching story.  I'm sure you'll raise a lot of money.

Those are absolutely amazing!  And that is not even a strong enough word.  :-)  If you ever decide to take commissions long distance, please let me know!

My husband and I have a huge soft spot for huskies, rescues and special need dogs.  We have three dogs currently (Siberian Husky, Alaskan Husky and S Husky/German Shep mix).  The mix was abused and left in a trash can.  We just adopted out a foster that was also left in a trash can (thankfully not abused otherwise).  We also lost a very special needs puppy at 5.5 months last year from her disease.  Anyway, I have such an appreciation for what your friends do as foster parents and what you've done to contribute to this fundraiser.  I hope it goes well.

And I'm serious about if you would be willing to do something based off of pictures.  :-)

Awww! I'm teary eyed reading about those babies - your friends sound like great people, and thank YOU for sharing these and for donating to such a wonderful cause. We have a rescue pup that was abused and it's heartbreaking but so gratifying to help them "heal". Your drawings are fantastic and I hope they make a ton of money for husky house! You rock!!!
