This portrait is of Cole.

My friends adopted Cole through Husky House (www.huskyhouse.org). They fostered him along with his mother, Hope (whom they also adopted) along with eight other puppies.  At seven weeks old he was diagnosed with megaesophagus (www.caninemegaesophagus.org ). Doctors said Cole could never live a "normal life" never be able to eat normally, or chew a bone. Cole never stopped fighting and Husky House and the Canine Megaesophagus Education & Research Project (cmERp) never stopped fighting for him.

This is a portrait of Timber. My friends (same set that have Cole) fostered then adopted him through Husky House. He was abused but they don't really know the full details of the situation. He was just a small puppy when they first started fostering him. From what they understand he was burned because he was crying in the crate at night. Today, he's a very happy and fun loving dog.

I'm donating both portraits to Husky House to help raise money for them at their event on June 7th, celebrating Cole's first birthday! I have a feeling that these will be entered into a silent auction. I'm pretty nervous and excited for the event. I'm going to be drawing quick sketches of people's pets and also taking orders for formal portraits (these portraits are going to be the samples of work). It's the first time I've ever done something like this, but my friends (and their pets) mean a lot to me and I wanted to help out!

Thanks For Looking  Kiss

Gorgeous! You do such amazing work. I have a husky/chow mix and reminds me of her.

They are beautiful dogs and so easily trained. And she does so good with our small children. I can't wait to see more portraits and how these do at the auction. I wish you lots of Luck!!
