My lamp has quite a few scratches from the past 10 or so years of use. I love this lamp! Now I'd like to re-paint it. My dilemma is that I don't have a clue what type of paint to use... and if there is a good translucent paint for a project like this. I'm not sure what the lamp is made of. I think it's some sort of resin.

Please help!

Should I have put this on a different board?

Maybe leadlight paint, you know the stuff you paint on plastic to make sun catchers, or some sort of glass paint.... that would be my guess anyway

What about Gallery Glass - the paint you use to simulate stained glass?
