here she goes

posing for me!!!

I'm no good at making tutorials that don't have pics but well here's my attempt [even tho it's really easy to do]
1. Take your ribbon and wrap it around your waist/hips [where ever you like best]and decide how long do you want it to hang.

2. Mark where the ribbon is gonna meet, after you mark, sew it in place.

3. To make the flower cut strips of ribbon about three inches long, and fold them to make the "petals". You can make a bow or a flower or whatever your heart fancies. To make the center of the flower i used one of those buttons you cover in fabric and stitched it to the flower.

4. I cut two little circles of felt and stitched snaps on them. Then I glued one to the back of the flower, and the other one to the other end of the belt. You can make it with just one ribbon or double or triple or with how many ribbons you want,  and that's basically it.

I hope it came out understandable, I would do a step by step, but my camera os afraid of the dark.

That's so pretty!  Very feminine.  I'll definitely have to make one!  What type of fabric did you use for it?

Oh, and your dog is adorable!   Smiley

I love that skirt.  It's so classy, especially with the belt.  Bravo!
