malmow--- i had a really hard time finding white gel pens too. but i finally found one in the bi-mart scrap booking area.  its a very small section of the store, and here, they keep it with the electronics.

i love personal swaps. i'm looking to swap my art or paper crafts for some re-usable fabric snack bags, fabric sandwich wraps, fabric paper towels, glass pendants, ephemera, or art books.

I love all the latest pages!
I've been looking for a white gel pen, and I can't find them anywhere. I had scads of them when I was in middle and high school: white, silver, all kinds of pastel colors. If anyone knows where I can get one let me know. Until then I'm making do with a white-out pen.

I love the Sakura brand white gelly roll pens (or all their pens for that matter): http://www.sakuraofamerica.com/

I get them at Michaels since my local JoAnn's no longer sells loose pens, only sets  Angry

Mine are gelly roll by Sakura too, although I got mine at Collage which is a scrapbook/art store here. She sells quite a few colors singly. I haven't looked at the Michael's here lately for them, but I know they used to carry a lot of Sakura pens. I think they still do. I love sakura pens, I never seem to have a problem with them not writing when they are still full of ink.

I'll have to get me some of those. I hate when gel pens decide to stop working. I've tried opening them up and blowing into the bottom, dipping a safety pin into the ink and writing with it, etc. etc.

I live too close Grin to a big office and artist supply store. They have millions of pens and paints, plus all kinds of moleskin books and other stuff I always feel I have to have......
So I must go there, I am pretty sure they would have white gel pens.

I just bought a chalkboard pen there. So much fun on my grey chalkboard kitchenwalls Cheesy

I have been seriously ill. I will get back to everyone to finish up all swaps and stuff. I am home now.

I was just at michael's this weekend and in the scrapbooking section, they had a big variety of pens, including several brands of white gel pens, all sold individually. I was debating on whether I should buy one, but I ended up buying an ultrafine black micron pen instead. That is also a VERY good brand! Now I wish I had also gotten the white one!!! Darn you craft store for being so far away!!!

Where have I been? Finally had me some kids. Now they're toddlers.

Yes! I've gotten some really awesome pens from craft stores, but I'm wondering if anyone has found a quality yellow paint! All the paints I've tried always need like sixhundred coats!

Yesterday night i finished my first page. I really like how it turned out. the hearts are from extra scrapbook paper and a heart punch. The rest is colored with crayon.

I'm dying to join this craft-along!

I am obsessed with my journals. I can't operate without them. They catch all of my arty thoughts and ideas and keep them from spilling everywhere. I don't remember a time when I haven't thought about words and books and paper..... I probably spend the most time of my Barnes and Noble trips in the journal department, opening each journal, looking at the lines, feeling the paper...... I have a stack of journals that are all empty, just because I couldn't resist buying them for one reason or other.

I lost one of my journals once and nearly had a heart attack.....

I posted a large portion of my current art journal in this thread: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=325975.0

I'll post more pages in this thread as they develop!

I like owls. I am forgetful and clumsy. Zombies are cool. My life is filled with awesomeness and yours should be too. ^.^
