Smuckers9 Have fun at Art on a Lark! I haven't been able to get back there yet, but I'd like to. Don't forget they have ephemera you can use too, just take some unwanted supplies and leave something in return. I'd take black ink for stamping with you also or whatever your favorite color is, but they did have several colors to use last time I was there.

I have a page or two to post, either tonight or tomorrow I'll try to get them scanned

I would LOVE to someday go to art on a lark.... I'm jealous!! This thread has been quiet for such a while!!! I know that I've been crazy lazy on my journal the last couple of weeks. I've been doing plenty of work OUTSIDE of it, but not inside. I'll make it a point to do at least one page this week, even if it's just collaging other work!!!

I should have one spread to post soon, and I've been working on some backgrounds.  I've been busy with swaps and wedding gifts and such and I've been bitten by the inchie bug, so if I'm not working on the stuff I should be working on lately, I've been making inchies.  But Phizzy, I love your pages!  I need to start making some of mine more journal like I think.  So far none of my pages have anything to do with what's going on in my life.  And that quote is priceless!  I try to keep a notebook with me to write stuff like that down, but we haven't been out and about to hear any juicy quotes.

WOWOWOW!! THat is such an awesome page phizzy!!! I'm starting college on the 9, so I hope I'll start getting inspired again. Since I've been home all the time I don't get inspired. Plus I'm taking astronomy and a class called the search for utopia, so I think those two will give me ideas for my journals!

Agh! I did one. It's a kind of cop out, though. I just collaged some old stuff and called it good. The whole left hand side is just a torn out page from a Martha Stewart mag. It works, though, right?!


This side is all inchies I made, then I cut out the hummingbird I painted a few nights ago...

Can't wait to see some more pages, you guys! I am in desperate need of inspiration!!

Thanks for the compliments, guys! I had an infuriating morning involving our turd landlord/management company, and I need a little mood brightening. I can't wait till our lease is up, because I am itching to get away from all of the ridiculous crap we put up with from them!!!  Grrr

I feel a grumpy journal page coming on.

Ok, it has been awhile but I have a few pages I have really enjoyed working on them, and the art teacher at my Mom's school is having me put together a paper to explain what an altered journal is, along with inchies and chunky houses and other paper crafts so she can teach her students. Hehehe. A bunch more teenagers addicted to papercrafting lol

Here is my odd Robot, with my tab that says automaton. And my anime version of me. I still want to find some cool things for the background of that one.


And here is my tribute to The Lorax, and my Bug page. I had a lot of fun with the bug page, I used the embroidery floss to make the spider web, and created a couple of buggie inchies
