We've had a crazy hectic weekend/beginning of week involving unexpected hotel nights and not much time at home to work on pages.  All the new pages look great.  I've been wondering about beads too.  Tacky glue works pretty well?  Like just cover the area and really stick the beads on?

noooitare:  I love your line drawing page.  I have one that my mom taught me ages ago of a swan.  I bust it out when I'm trying to impress really artsy people with my one line drawing.  I've tried other things but they are kind of unidentifiable usually.

raerae:  sorry to take so long to get back to you on your question.  I didn't put anything extra to support the flaps, but because of the paint I did glue two pages together.  It seems pretty sturdy, so unless it gets really yanked around I don't think it will rip.

And I also plan on hitting up Target for some supplies while all their back to school stuff is on mega-sale.  I kind of figure you can never have too much of that kind of stuff.

Don't forget about Staples and Office Max - I just got 3 boxes of crayons for .01 each! (Took my Dad along and he did the same for me!)

Power is strength and the ability to see yourself through your own eyes and not through the eyes of another. It is being able to place a circle of power at your own feet and not take power from someone else's circle.

Wow I cant believe this thread is stil going - I havnt done any of my journal since the early days of this thread. Its inspiring me to start again - Im thinking of trying to find a smaller book to use rather than a full page one - is that ok?

Ahhhhh! Hungry bear!!!! I didn't do a page yesterday, so I wanted to do one that I'd like today. I had to do another "woodland creatures" type page, because they make me happy! I used acrylics for the bear. and originally wanted him holding a wii remote or ps3 controller with a TV on the opposite page, but meh, it didn't fit once I got into it...
