I can't believe I read all 170 pages in less than 2 days - yeah, I really need to get a life...

I started a book about a month or so ago -
 backstory... I was at Goodwill - when am I not at goodwill - and found "Yes You Can Heather" The story of the first deaf Miss America. I paid the $1 for the book and brought it home with many ideas!!!!
The first thing I always do is go through and slice out some of the pages... Then I used a pencil to write in the table of contents about which years of my life which chapter was representing.
I need to accomplish some work before I can spend the time to figure out my scanner...
I've been showing it to everyone and they don't appreciate it as much as I'm hoping a fellow artist will.
It really got me through a rough month.

Off to do some work so I can play
and join in !!!

audio-astrophysics - I took pieces of different dragons that I found and combined them into one dragon that I drew. I originally tried drawing a dragon  just off the top of my head and it came out very odd.

I've just been thinking and thinking about that lace page, so I finally just decided to go ahead and do it! I really love this page. I used a line from a poem I wrote two years ago in a creative writing class. "In the end nothing will falter...it comes too fast." I don't know why but I really love that line. (Oops, just realized my spelling error, I'll fix it later!)

PHizzy - I wanted to thank you because I was inspired by your work. I've been doing a lot of collages/altered books and wasn't happy with them. When I saw how you painted the pages, I confiscated DS#1's watercolor pencils and decided to give it a try! I love the difference it makes and I've got about 5 or so different books going atm. (DH, DS1, DS2, travelogue and mine)
I took pictures of all the pages in my book so far...

Im not scared of spiders either but I keep dreaming huge ones are after me and in the dream Im scared of them *lol*
