I am totally fascinated by everyone's pages.  I don't know if this question's been asked or answered because I don't have the time to go thru the whole thread but I know alot of you use watercolors on your pages -- how do you keep the pages from getting wavy?

iIf you do get a book with not so great pages you can adhere a few pages together to get a solid base and since the pages are sturdier they can stand more abuse from being handled

First I have to say welcome to all the new people in here  Smiley

I  haven't posted here for few days so I was behind on some of your pages.

DanniQuee I liked your psychedelic page, I really loved the colors on your Earth day page.  Smiley

OnyxSaphire I loved how you combined the vintage women with the psychedelic & coloring their hair  Smiley

Phizzy That's a great psychedelic page too... I like how you added all those little Phizzy elements to it.  Cheesy And of course I'm very interested to see how you finish your other page.

I of course am behind as usuall on the themes for this week. And some from before as well.  Roll Eyes  I do have a couple of pages that I finished that were non-themed pages.

It's a very simple page, but I have nothing that I want to add to it. Not yet anyway.

This is actually a pocket on the inside of the back cover. That flower rub-on (I outlined it with a sharpie) was already added to the page when I put the card and the rusted square on, so I'm not entirely happy with the positioning of everything, but I like the elements on there. A friend suggested that I put a list of the themes in here and I might when the book is done. Which should be another 7 pages I think ... all in progress.  Wink

I have an idea for the psychedelic page, but I'm going to have to find my new book to work on it.  Smiley Alice in wonderland I have to think about, but it could be fun.

As for paint, mostly I use watered down acrylic paint... the cheap stuff in bottles. So far I haven't had much problem with wrinkling, but I've been using sketchbooks so the pages are thicker... the new book will have thinner pages so we'll see. Actually lately quite a few of my pages are colored in with chalk.

Your second page certainly is 'calmness'! I love the way the colours are balanced on that page, very soothing!

I did some doodling this morning...

Yay for google!
Is this it?
"How do I love thee? Let me count the ways..."
by Elizabeth Barrett Browning (1806-1861)
How do I love thee? Let me count the ways.
I love thee to the depth and breadth and height
My soul can reach, when feeling out of sight
For the ends of Being and ideal Grace.
I love thee to the level of everyday's
Most quiet need, by sun and candle-light.
I love thee freely, as men strive for Right;
I love thee purely, as they turn from Praise.
I love thee with a passion put to use
In my old griefs, and with my childhood's faith.
I love thee with a love I seemed to lose
With my lost saints, --- I love thee with the breath,
Smiles, tears, of all my life! --- and, if God choose,
I shall but love thee better after death.

I love that page phizzy!
What type of pen do you use to draw the black lines on your pages?
All the pens I try to use to draw line turn out not so neat looking Smiley

Thanks! I used a sharpie for this one because I didn't want the ink to run.

I want to try some ink/bleach on some pages. Anyone tried that with printed type page yet? I'm curious to see what it does.

Putting bleach on a page would be a fun experiment!
They have those beach pens too that would be fun to experiment with.

Panthermoon - I really like the creative spirits page! It's very ephemeral. Is the dragonfly 3 dimensional?

Phizzy - I love all the bright colours and doodles! It makes me think of a landscape, but an extremely bright one. Cheesy

I have a new page I did tonight to cheer me up, since I've been mopey and lonely with the DH gone for two weeks, with the exception of a quick 30 hour visit from late last Friday to early Sunday morning. He comes homes Friday for good. Cheesy

My first page with a playing card!  Wink
