Wooo it's Friday!

Here's my hidden space page...






5 Tags...and woo, it's me! ha ha! This is actually one of the very few photo's I like of myself. Professional make-up and nice bridesmaid frock, for my Sister's wedding. I normally look awful in photo's! The tags are things that relate to my life...though one has slipped behind, it's not intentional. It's damn hard to get a scan of these things and I gave up!

Phizzy - I love the steps page! The colours really make it work, as does the sort of free flowing feel of the line drawings on each page. I think maybe doing a few painting/drawing only pages in my own book has kept it's weight down.

You're hidden space page is adorable. I was going to ask if that was you! I love the texture the strings add to the page, and the shapes of the tags are just too cute.

graverobbergirl - post as much as you want! I like seeing people's work. All of your notebook work is great, although I do favour the Alice and map layouts the most though. Congrats on selling your dress! Your sewing page has so much to look at and it's great! I like that it conveys the amount of stuff that goes on when sewing. Also, I think you should leave the overhang.

Yeah, that's why I like that photo, it makes me look half decent! Oh the wonders of decent makeup and a frock! I ditched the skirt afterwards but I still have the corset I have a cool photo somewhere of me putting on my Doc's afterwards so I could dance. She wanted some particular shoes for the bridesmaids in a sale and I had to wear a size smaller to oblige that little demand

I can't wait to see more Friday pages!

Phizzy I love the string and tags - you have so many good ideas. A personal page for this week sounds good - I already printed off some photos YESTERDAY to do one!!

Sunflower - you got your wish, theres some photos of me coming up but so small you probably cant see them!!

Before I post my page - heres something to make you all jealous - look at this paper my sister got me yesterday!!!!



And heres my page - its very simple and im not sure if it totaly fits the brief. I've had the post card for a long time, and the photo is one I took of somewhere incredibly special to me, my husband called it my spiritual retreat and its a page i definitely need today.



(Last night when he was out, the cooker started sparking by itself as if to light the gas ring, when i touched it to try and turn it off it shocked me so I turned it off at the wall. So now I gotta ring our landlord and see what he says - when we told him the lights in the kitchen we only working sometimes, we think a loose connection - he just told us to wiggle them each time till they come on!!! We had to defrost the fridge because it is dripping water on all our food. Then i left the freezer door open over night by mistake and couldnt open the drawers so we had to defrost that today too. And there was settlement talks this morning for insurance money to do with my husbands familty dying EIGHT years ago and yet again nothing got sorted so we have to dig it all up again come October. What else could happen today!!!!)

And another page I finished yesterday after having the background for ages and not knowing what to do with it.

ahhhh paisleys.....I love paisleys.....what is it about that shape...like I said ..I want to be one in my next life....and if I don't get off of here and start working on my page...I will turn into a pumpkin....
