What a wonderful gift for your friend. I love all the doors.

graverobbergirl-I love the notebook. Your friend is going to be lucky. And yes..I did a few pages tonight. Im happy with most of them. There not nearly as alaborate as all of yours..but they work for me.

I finished my orange page(the last and HARDEST color in the rainbow) I did a few pages just playing with crayons and writing quotes from the pages over them while I was waiting for my sister to get off the computer.  They turned out pretty cool. The thing is..theyre all depressing. But I was in a considerably happy mood. Then when Im depressed...I tend to make more cheerful pages...Its pretty odd..

That's curious! Cheesy

I had my camera out trying to take a good photo of that powder page, but it's not playing fair! I did take these though...

My craft mess on the dining room table...

My book has 159 pages and I'm only at 65. Already it's bursting! Cheesy

Anyone else want to share their crafting mess work space or brimming books? Cheesy

I'll share my mess! I'll have to get home and photograph it before the manly comes home and cleans it up. I'm such a clutter bug when I work and it drives him crazy. Cheesy

Phizzy - That metallic stuff is beautiful! I've had no luck finding anything I like in the stores so far.

Your pages are also turning out great! They have a very arabian feel. I love the colours you're using and the crosshatching in the archway. The fabric triangles are a great touch! You're working on a Green Man you say? I want to hear more about him! Cheesy

Graverobbergirl - That notebook is so filled with pretties I doubt I would get any work done. And I'd certainly HAVE to use it only for my favourite classes. I wouldn't want to put things in it that I wouldn't still find interesting later on. Smiley I love the way the curio cabinets worked out!

your.bestnightmare - Pfft to elaborate! It's you journal. So long as it makes you happy to look through it then that's what counts. Smiley

LOL on the craft space!  last night I was coming down on myself hard cause my space is so messy how can I do ANYTHING?......so I moved to the kitchen Grin  but my new journal I painted gesso on for a base (on the outside)and this morning thought..."why did I do that...I'm covering it....so...live and learn.. but I know exactly how I'm executing (not killing) my secret place ....and the beginning of my journal...cause I didn't sleep last night rolling it over in my mind...waiting for the gesso to dry...doh!

I'm pretty sure the more you want it to dry the longer gesso takes! Cheesy

Phizzy - I love the page and the metal stuff looks great.
I took a photo of my book a few weeks ago and its about half full!!! Althought I have been two sticking pages together to make them thicker.

Graverobber girl - thats a great notebook , I love how the cupboards open.

Heh, like waiting for the kettle to boil! Cheesy

Love the photo of your journal, it's great seeing all the colours. So much promise of wonderful pages to rummage through!

My idea for Friday's page is unfortunately going to make mine more bulky...I'm going to have to stop adding fibers and brads and things for a while I think or I won't be able to work in it by the end!

You can cut some pages out to reduce bulk.
