Ok here goes again.
A 'new' book that I dont read anymore and some materials which I am more at home with - acrylic paints, masking tape, collage, sequins and a hole punch.

You cant see it very well but the writing is "nothing but the truth"

Actually it looks a lot better in real life cos you get all the layers - Im a lot more pleased with this one than the last one (which I may try again some time!)

Thanks

Id love it if some other people would journal-a-long too. Can we recruit more people somehow?

Maybe people could just give the journalling a go without having to find a book to do it in to start off with. I found that really intimidating and so scared of ruining the book! Although that was a lot worse with my blank paged book than with my latest one with writing in.

I started something... couple years ago... I was just using one of those big packs of cardstock, marked off an edge to keep clear for binding 1/2 - 1". Probably bind it myself, might take it to office supply store. Not sure where it is now but don't really need them I might just start some more..

I like the way you used the little frame over the text, it really helps to draw attention to the uncover line of text.  Smiley

I'm hoping to join in soon Gemcraft  Smiley I sorted through my books last night to try and find something suitable  Wink

Me too!

I have another couple, a little different from the others. This first one is Sevilla Cathedral (well, a tiny part of it) I was trying to use colour in place of the browns that I'd normally use for a stone building. Just a quick watercolour and ink sketch.

And something totally different Cheesy, a design page for a stool.

Thanks! Yeah, it's a little birthday date book my Gran had, which was falling apart. I drew on it and then used it to cover up some of the text from the book, and extended the drawings off it. I think it works quite well for adding dates into the book in the background without making a feature of it.

Anyone else have any new pages? Smiley
