Awesome pages Imrahil! And I think I can spot a scrap from our swap!

I just uploaded my February spread for the calendar challenge... I wanted to make a Valentines themed spread, but it turned out a little too cutesy... Might have to splatter it with some black paint later!



I also made a couple of background papers using the shaving cream marbling method I found over in the techniques thread!

Me too!  At least it's only one month.  I've actually kept little notes this month so maybe it won't be so hard to catch up and fill in a few January dates...

Karin, it looks great as it is, and isn't too sugary sweet at all.

I'm quite inspired by the Katheryn wheel challenge, but have no chance of catching up for this year.  I might make a couple calenders for next year, to give as Christmas presents to my sister and cousin.

Yay, Nooo is back in the thread! I've missed you!

  You make me feel so loved I'm thinking that doing some journal pages will do me some good. I'm in a serious craft-funk and I need some sort of focus/direction! I've also been absent from craftster, which is TOO SAD. I've missed this thread.

Anybody down to suggest some more themes?

I don't know if any of those would be good journal prompts or not, but I can kind of see myself coming up with a page or two for most of them.

Good list, bethie! The one that stood out to me was the color I hate the most. I think it would be a good challenge to make a page in pastel colors and be happy with it. Brights usually find their way in, somehow. But trying to work in pastel colors might just make me want to throw my book against the wall

I tried to do a page in my old unfinished book, but couldn't get into it  I'm thinking about trying to find a little book to do. Maybe a board book? It would definitely be less intimidating. I aughta head to the thrift store this week.
