Thanks guys!! Smiley And yes it is the Prisoner of Azkaban! hehehe. I got that copy at a yard sale for 25 cents, but my Mom got me the matching set in hardback, so I figured that it would be perfect for my altered journal, cause I LURVE Harry Potter!!

i love personal swaps. i'm looking to swap my art or paper crafts for some re-usable fabric snack bags, fabric sandwich wraps, fabric paper towels, glass pendants, ephemera, or art books.

LunaKitten:  I am so jealous of your rainbow!  I like what I have so far (red, yellow, and green) but I'm really stuck for the rest of the colors.  At least the backgrounds are done I guess.  And I love your bubble page, it's so bright and colorful!

noooitare:  I definitely think the magazine page works, maybe you could decorate it a little if you feel too lazy just pasting in a page.  And I am in love with your jellyfish inchies.  I am no good at doing simple drawings like that, and yours look perfect!  I love how on your new page the question mark behind the birdie's head almost makes him look like a quail.

Here's my newest page.  I just finished Watership Down and I loved the lapine language, so I did some inchies (I'm new to them, but I think I might be addicted) with little badly done (because I can't draw, I did at least two tries for most and still am not completely happy with them, but I think they're as good as they'll get with my drawing skills) illustrations for some of my favorite words.

I think I might try to find some good rabbits to paste around as well, I didn't want the words to be too organized, and I'm not sure I like how they turned out, they don't look quite random enough (too late now, they're good and stuck!)

My mom was shocked when she found out I was reading it that it was the first time.  It was one of her favorite books (in fact, she uses tharn on a regular basis and I only recently found out that it wasn't actually a word), and she can't believe that she never recommended it to me.

Nooitare- I love the bird page! And the background really works with the word home on the other page. It's got great movement captured in it.

Bunnyface- I love that book! And I think you did really well with your inchies, the page made me smile too!! Smiley
