malmow- Satchmo looks like a good, good dog! The pet tag in there really adds a nice touch, too.

snowbird- I really like the colors on your pages, and the quotes too. That little circle/pie thingie on the right hand side reminds me of pac-man

It doesn't need writing! Some of my favorite books when I was a kid didn't have words at all. My grandma would read it to me making up a new story every time. Art work is good for kids minds. I had to illustrate a childrens book for an art class I took recently, I used a song for inspiration. (At the zoo by Simon and Garfunkel) Plus your characters are so fun you could do an alphabet book with animals or a number book. Your work is always great.

I was just going to suggest this... find someone else to write the story and then illustrate it.

Ahhh!!! Why didn't anyone tell me how fun it is to have crayons?! This page was so fun....If anyone else has crayons, I HIGHLY suggest doing a crayon and watercolor page! It's fast, and gratifying I'd be excited to see some other pages with this stuff....

I got back from my vacation and there weren't as many post in this place as I thought there would be!!

Noitare- Animal crackers is funny!! Oh my gosh! That bird page is awesome! Im totallyy going to use crayons and water color next!

Thanks for all the compliments! Satchmo is also known as Louis Armstrong, a famous jazz musician. I wish I could take credit for my dog's name, but he already had it when I adopted him. We call him Satchie for short.
Beckashell, you should make a dog page! It's a lot of fun and there is no shortage of good materials in the pet department. They're all over books, magazines, junk mail, etc.
