This year I am ahead of the game.  I thought up a teacher's gift before the last day of school.  Which was no easy feat - usually I stick to candy or chocolate but this year my son's teacher is a vegan so I wasn't sure I would be able to find vegan chocolate that tasted good in my town.

Since she loves animals I thought I would give her a rare and endangered calico owl.  The tote is small but can still hold a wallet, keys, phone, book and a large water bottle.  I figure if nothing else it would work as a lunch bag.
