this is a little purse I made with a flame chevron eyelet stitch. I was pretty happy with it. It looks fancy but it's super easy. I never got messed up while I was watching tv,fussing at the kid and the cats!

well i got the stitch pattern out of the ultimate sock book. Will have to find it when i get home. But i just followed that pretty much until i got tired of it, sewed up the sides, lined it and made i cord handles. I will post the stitch pattern for you later!

ok here is the stitch pattern:
mult of 7 sts
Row 1) ssk, k5, yo Rep to end
Row 2 and all even # rows) Purl
Row 3) ssk, k4, yo, k1 rep to end
Row 5) ssk, k3, yo, k2 rep to end
Row 7) ssk, k2, yo, k3 rep to end
Row 9) ssk, k1, yo, k4 rep to end
Row 11) ssk, yo, k5 rep to end
Row 13) yo, k5, k2 tog rep to end
Row 15) k1, yo, k4, k2 tog rep to end
Row 17) k2, yo, k3, k2 tog rep to end
Row 19) k3, yo, k2, k2 tog rep to end
Row 21) k4, yo, k1, k2 tog rep to end
Row 23) k5, yo, k2 tog rep to end
Row 24) purl

And that's it! Super easy. I believe I used a size 9 needle and cheapo acrylic worsted weight yarn.
